The Naked Gospel

WHO AM I ?    WHY AM I HERE ?    WHERE AM I GOING ?

The GREATEST DISCOVERY
that you can ever make is that
God loves you and has a plan and purpose
for your life.
Men and women and young people are searching for a life full of meaning: a satisfying life of peace, joy and love. We were created for such a life.

The Lord Jesus Christ came to make a way for you to have the best kind of life - the abundant life. The Holy Bible is God's Word to you and me - our manual for life on planet earth. We can trust God's Word, for God never lies to us and He has spoken to us and He means what He says. The Authorised King James Holy Bible contains the reasons why most people are missing out and the remedy for the situation.

Our Problem

The Bible makes it clear that our greatest problem is a spiritual one.  Like a gulf our sins (wrongful thoughts, words and deeds) have separated us from the Holy God in His Holy Heaven, so that we are cut off from a personal relationship with He who is life.

"But your iniquities (sins) have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid His face from you." "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God ... For as by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world, and death by sin, and so that death passed upon all men, in that all have sinned."

Sin in us from conception, passed on to us and stemming from Adam, the first man on earth, is the reason for a dissatisfied and purposeless life. The Bible describes this state of everyone born into the world as being a 'lost' state from a right relationship with the God of the Bible.

We experience emptiness in our life, darkness behind the eyes and we feel like God is way out there somewhere. So we search for meaning in life in human relationships, intoxicants, work, sports, etc.

Also with this is the fact that in a 'lost' state, one is not ready to die and go out into eternity to meet the Judge of the entire universe. He, who created all things, has also appointed a day in which He shall bring all people to give account to Him.

The truth is, is that God is holy, and He lives in a holy Heaven of bliss and the spiritual pleasures of life, and that only people who accept His free gift of salvation can enter there, and those who reject the invitation to be rescued must face an eternity in a place called Hell, which is devoid of life, light, relief and pleasure.

God's Answer

Jesus Christ, who was sent from Heaven to come to earth to seek and to save the lost, said: "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father (in Heaven) but by me." "He that believeth on the Son (Jesus) hath everlasting life: and He that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him."

Man has tried many ways to fill the void inside and reach God, but all of these have failed. Being religious is not in itself the answer. Being a church member of an organisation has never been the way of clearing our sin debt. Trying to do the best we can in sincerity is not able in itself to cleanse our souls from the stain of a life of sinning.

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." "But God commendeth His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

"For God so loved the world (of sinners) that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish (in Hell) but have everlasting life."

"He that heareth my Word, and believeth on Him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from DEATH unto LIFE."

The Bible reveals how that God in Heaven sent His Son to earth to die, because of our sins, that we may have the opportunity to approach God for pardon, deliverance and a brand new life
in God's favour.

The Lord Jesus Christ laid down His life to be crucified upon a Roman cross (a death instrument, 32 A.D.) and bore in His own body on the tree, our sins, and took the full punishment for them all. The Bible teaches us that Christ became sin and a curse for us upon the Cross, so that we might be set free from our personal burden of sin which detracts from enjoying true life with God. That is how much God loves YOU!

The Lord Jesus Christ came via a virgin maid (Mary) thus escaping the sinful nature that we all have received from Adam. He lived a perfect life and then offered Himself up to die as the perfect sacrifice to God.

It is the blood of Jesus Christ that can cleanse a soul from all sin. This is the message of the Holy Bible from cover to cover - The BLOOD - THE BLOOD OF JESUS rescues a lost soul from an empty meaningless life and from eternal separation in Hell's darkness.

"But He was wounded for our transgressions; He was bruised for our iniquities (sins)...
All we like sheep have gone astray: we have turned everyone to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all."
"For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God."

Jesus, the Saviour (rescuer)

The Lord Jesus Christ came and died and arose from the dead on the third day, so that we might have the opportunity to leave behind the old life in Adam's path and to enter into new life in Christ. We can have forgiveness and pardon for our debt of sin and an abundant life in God's favour. We can also begin to enjoy a future of hope, without fear of death and condemnation. But to enter into God's new life, we must personally respond to God's invitation.

The Bible makes it clear that there is NO work that we can do as a sinner which can appease His holiness and justice.  He simply asks for us to have faith in the perfectly finished WORK of His Son upon the Cross to pay our sin debt. It is the greatest insult to God to try to reform oneself and try to pass oneself off as being good enough to enter Heaven upon ones own merits. This by-passes the work of Christ and does not work! God requires that we place our trust by a deliberate, serious decision of the will upon the BLOOD of the Cross of Christ to clear the soul from sin.

"Without shedding of blood there is no remission (of sin)" "I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul."   (Atonement = to make amends)

God raised up His Son from the grave on the third day after He had died upon the Cross.
God, who made all things, raised His Son from the dead to stamp His full approval upon the perfect-ness of His Son and the perfect finished work of salvation wrought by His Son. The Lord Jesus is now seated with His Father in Heaven waiting for your right response to His invitation to come into a loving relationship with Him.

"I Am He that liveth, and was dead; and behold I Am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of Hell and of death."

Your Response

Jesus says, "I stand at the door (of your heart) and knock: if any (one) hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in ..."

In all your need, why not avail yourself of  God's gracious invitation by turning from your life of sin and waywardness, and PRAY, asking The LORD to come into your life to rescue you, cleanse your soul and give you Himself - He who is life abundant.

Having faced up to the problem of your own personal sin and shortcoming and its consequences, and now realising that Christ, the LORD of Glory, died upon the Cross to reconcile you to God, then you may now strongly desire to experience God's true work of salvation in your soul. Why not now pray from your heart to the God of the Bible, asking Him to save you?

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Perhaps you may like to pray a prayer like the one below -

"LORD, Please forgive me of all my offenses against you.   I believe that you died because of my sins and arose again from the dead.     I believe that your work upon the Cross is my only way of deliverance from Hell.

Please apply your soul cleansing blood to my soul and make me clean in your holy sight.    I open the door of my life to you.     Please come into my life and take control of all that I have and am.      Thank you.    Amen."
