A brief Background

 Hello,  my name is John. I was brought up in the Protestant movement. On the day of my salvation (15/11/1986) I entered a conservative church group and have served in pretty much every function that one can serve in the local church. I have over 25 years experience with the Bible. I graduated from bible institute in the year 1998. I was ordained for this ministry in the year 2000. I am conservative in nature and preservative in purpose.

 During the early 90's as I studied church history, I saw the impact that the 'pilgrim' people of God have made on our history, and I sought to emulate their example. In the winter of 1997 the ministry was officially launched, beginning in my home city and extending to reach out to the towns in out-lying areas. Accompanied by my companions we engaged in street ministry in the bigger cities.

During the year 2000 the letter-writing part of the ministry began to take shape, sending off letters to places of disrepute and to political leaders who were seeking to pass policies of disrepute.

During the years 2007 & 2008, our publications were converted into E-Book format for download off the Internet,
we converted our letter ministry to email communications, revamped our core website and we condensed our projects. The ministry continues to address personal and national complexities.

A Brief Statement of Faith

1: THE SCRIPTURES

 The Holy Bible, consisting of the 66 books of the old and new testaments, is verbally inspired of God, infallible, inerrant and is the supreme and final authority for life and practice.

The Word of God has been preserved through the line of the 'Textus Receptus' and is available today, it being the 'King James Authorised 1611' bible.
All modern versions are from a different line of descent.


 2: THE GODHEAD

 There is only one God, Jehovah, an infinite, intelligent spirit, who is the maker and supreme ruler of the universe.
 In the unity of the Godhead, there are three persons as one - Father, Son and Holy Ghost. All three persons are equal in every way and fulfill different roles in regards to their relations with mankind.

 Jesus Christ, the eternal Word, became flesh and dwelt among men for thirty-three and a half years. In His incarnation He was fully God and fully man at the same time. He died on behalf of mankind and His blood makes atonement for all of man's sins, fully satisfying the justice of God.

He was resurrected bodily. He ascended into Heaven to intercede, being the only mediator between God and man.

He shall return to rapture His church at the Second Advent and then He shall reign on the earth in His kingdom.

 The Holy Ghost indwells believers, guides them and imparts to them all the provision of God for life and practice.  It is the privilege of all believers to be 'filled with the Spirit'. 

 

3: THE CREATION AND FALL OF MAN

The Genesis account is to be taken literally. Man was created in innocence, but by voluntary transgression fell into a state of spiritual death. In consequence, all of mankind are sinners by first birth and by choice. Sin is the transgression of God's laws - disobedience/rebellion.

This ministry publishes bible studies that adhere to the historic tenets of the faith.

4: SALVATION

 Jesus Christ was sent into the world (by virgin birth) to be the only saviour of the world. The work of Christ upon the cross has paid the full cost of each sinner's debt to God. Salvation is a free gift of grace offered to whosoever will repent and believe the gospel.  Jesus Christ arose from the dead to be the living Saviour.
 
A sinner must be 'Born Again', which is a work of the Holy Spirit of God, imparting God's life into the human spirit. This is instantaneous upon repentance and obedience to the gospel message. 
 
The saint has an eternal position before God's eyes, being 'In Christ'.

 

 5: PRINCIPALITIES, HELL AND HEAVEN

 Satan was originally in Heaven as an angel of God. Sin has its origins in him. He and his angel followers were cast out of Heaven and now wage war against God.

There is a demon prince over each region, and their job is to take men away from the light of the Scriptures. The blood-bought, Spirit-filled believer has experiential victory over such Principalities.

 Hell (Hades) is the immediate fate of those who reject God's salvation. This is a literal place in the spiritual realm.

Only those who are born from above can enter Heaven, having been saved from sin's penalty by the blood of Christ. The third heaven is the abode of God. The souls of the redeemed will be in conscious bliss forever.

 
6: THE CHURCH

 A visible local church of Christ is a congregation of born again, baptised believers, covenanted together to propagate the gospel, worship God and uphold the true faith of the Scriptures.  Jesus Christ bought the Church with His own blood and gave to the Church the authority to evangelise and disciple.

 

 7: CHRISTIAN TESTIMONY

 All believers are to live a life of separation in the world: not being conformed to this world's anti-god philosophies, ideals and fashions.

 Believers are told to look up, ready for the soon return of Christ, who shall establish His Kingdom on earth. Therefore we are told to be working for Christ until He comes and He shall reward every one according to their works.
